AM&SON Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy ("Policy") explains how AMSON ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you access or use the AMSON mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Platform").

      By accessing or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
    

1. Scope and Applicability

This Policy applies to personal information collected through:

The AMSON iOS and Android mobile applications;
User accounts, subscriptions, and in-app features;
Push notifications and communications;
Interactions with all Platform features including Scan, Watchlist, P&L Journal, and Signals.

This Policy does not apply to third-party websites, services, or applications that may be linked from the Platform.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information that you voluntarily provide and information that is automatically collected when you use the Platform.

A. Information You Provide Directly

This may include:

Email address and account login credentials (via Firebase Authentication);
Subscription and billing information (processed by RevenueCat and Apple/Google);
Stock symbols you add to your personal Watchlist;
Trade entries you log in the P&L Journal, including symbol, profit/loss amount, trade type (Long/Short), date, and optional notes;
Communications sent to us (e.g., support emails).

B. Information Collected Automatically

When you access or use the Platform, we may automatically collect:

Device information (device type, operating system version, unique device identifiers);
Expo push notification tokens used to deliver alerts to your device;
IP address and general location (e.g., country or region);
Usage data (features accessed, session duration, signal interactions);
Log data and error reports.

C. Financial and Market Data

The Platform displays stock market data, technical analysis signals, and analytics obtained from licensed third-party data providers, specifically Twelve Data. We do not collect brokerage account credentials, real money trading account information, or actual investment portfolio data. All P&L entries are self-reported by the user and are not connected to any real brokerage or trading account.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

Create and manage your AMSON account via Firebase Authentication;
Store and sync your Watchlist and P&L Journal entries across devices via Firebase Firestore;
Deliver personalized push notifications, including:
- BUY, SELL, and HOLD signal alerts for stocks on your Watchlist;
- Daily P&L reminders sent after market close on trading days;
- P&L streak notifications to encourage consistent trade journaling;
- General BUY/SELL signal alerts for the top 30 large-cap stocks;
Process subscription payments and manage access to AMSON Pro features;
Improve Platform functionality, performance, and user experience;
Monitor usage, prevent fraud, and enforce our Terms & Conditions;
Comply with legal obligations.

      We do not use personal data to provide financial advice or personalized investment recommendations. All signals are generated algorithmically and are for informational purposes only.
    

4. Push Notifications

AMSON sends push notifications to your device using Expo's push notification infrastructure. Notifications are delivered to an Expo Push Token associated with your device, which is stored in your user profile in Firebase Firestore.

Types of push notifications we send include:

BUY / SELL signal alerts for top large-cap stocks (sent once daily after market close on trading days);
Personalized Watchlist signal alerts (BUY, SELL, or HOLD) for stocks you have saved;
P&L daily reminder after the stock market closes (4:05 PM ET on market days);
P&L streak notifications at 8:00 PM ET on market days to encourage consistent journaling.

You can disable push notifications at any time through your device's system settings. Disabling notifications does not affect access to any other Platform features.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

AMSON Pro subscriptions are managed through RevenueCat, Apple App Store (iOS), and Google Play Store (Android). We do not store your payment card information. All billing is handled directly by Apple, Google, or RevenueCat according to their respective privacy policies.

We receive confirmation of your subscription status from RevenueCat to determine which features you can access within the Platform.

6. Sharing and Disclosure of Information

We do not sell personal information.

A. Service Providers

We share information with the following trusted third-party providers:

Firebase (Google) — authentication, database storage (Firestore), and cloud functions;
Twelve Data — market data and stock price feeds;
RevenueCat — subscription management and payment processing;
Expo — push notification delivery infrastructure;
Apple / Google — app distribution and in-app purchase billing.

These providers are authorized to use your information only as necessary to perform services on our behalf and are bound by their own privacy policies.

B. Legal and Compliance Obligations

We may disclose information if required to:

Comply with applicable laws, regulations, or legal processes;
Respond to lawful requests from authorities;
Protect the rights, property, or safety of AMSON, users, or others;
Enforce our Terms & Conditions.

C. Business Transfers

If AMSON is involved in a merger, acquisition, asset sale, or similar transaction, user information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

7. Data Storage and Retention

Your account data, Watchlist, and P&L Journal entries are stored in Firebase Firestore, hosted by Google on servers located in the United States. We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Platform's services.

If you delete your account, we will take reasonable steps to delete your personal data from our systems within a reasonable timeframe, subject to any legal retention obligations.

8. Data Security

We use Firebase's built-in security rules, authentication, and encryption to protect your personal information. Access to your Watchlist and P&L Journal data is restricted to your authenticated account only — other users cannot view your data.

However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. You acknowledge and accept this inherent risk.

9. User Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

Access or correct personal data we hold about you;
Request deletion of your account and associated data;
Object to or restrict certain processing;
Opt out of push notifications via your device settings;
Cancel your AMSON Pro subscription through the App Store or Google Play.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@amandson.com. We may require verification of your identity before fulfilling requests.

10. U.S. State Privacy Rights

If you are a resident of California, Virginia, Colorado, or other U.S. states with applicable privacy laws, you may have additional rights under those laws. AMSON does not sell personal data as defined by applicable U.S. state privacy laws.

11. Children's Privacy

The Platform is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a minor, we will take steps to delete such information promptly.

12. International Users

The Platform is operated from the United States and data is stored on Google Firebase servers in the United States. If you access the Platform from outside the U.S., you acknowledge that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other jurisdictions with different data protection laws.

The Platform may reference or link to third-party services. AMSON is not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of the following services we use:

We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. If changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice through the Platform or by email. Continued use of the Platform after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.

The most current version will always be available on the Platform.
